Work for Powervault: Production and Warehouse Supervisor


This is an opportunity to work in one of the fastest growing areas of the internet of things: energy storage and smart grid technology. We are looking for a production Supervisor to help us scale up and roll out many thousands of home energy storage products providing smart energy services to the electricity system. You will be given a high degree of responsibility in a close-knit company, with opportunities to direct your work and learn new skills as well as help deliver core business goals.

You will be responsible for:

  • To Lead and motivate a team of assembly operators
  • Ensure timely execution and completeness of production orders
  • Managed goods in/out and ensure that all relevant systems are correctly reported to maintain clear and correct records keeping
  • Ensure Health & Safety and 5S polices are followed
  • Quality orientated – Ensuring work is complete and to the required standard before passing it on to the next team/customer

Candidates will need to demonstrate previous experience in a role either directly responsible for these functions or with practical experience in running and monitoring similar processes. Training will be made available for the right candidate.


  • The ability to develop the necessary procedure & policies for managing the daily production and warehouse operation
  • Organised and methodical approach to problem-solving
  • Good communicator and motivator of the team
  • Organise the work within the team to achieve business targets, ensuring work is balanced between operators
  • Ensure all operators are trained in every role within the team and evaluate individual performance supporting with additional training as required
  • Ensure all bookings are recorded on the manufacturing system accurately and in a timely manner
  • Ensure good time-keeping is maintained
  • Good IT skills including spreadsheets
  • Proactive and ownership attitude to solve routine daily issues


  • Experience in Production/Assembly activities
  • 2-5 years practical experience in related role
  • Ability to demonstrate strong communication and organisational skills.
  • Experience leading a team of production operatives
  • Experience implementing process improvements
  • Target driven
  • Electronic/Electrical/Mechanical experience is a plus

  • Adaptable and self-managing, high achiever, tenacious and driven, team player, working closely with colleagues with different skill sets
  • Happy to “get hands dirty”
