Final day on Crowdcube as new partnerships confirm Powervault’s market opportunity

As Powervault reaches the final day on Crowdcube – with over £1.4m raised so far – it announces two new partnerships and continued sales progress with existing distributors:

Powervault has today (9th June 2016) signed an MOU with Job Worth Doing, a subsidiary of national home energy specialists Entu, to trial targeted deployment of Powervault’s energy storage system amongst Job Worth Doing’s solar PV customers. Job Worth Doing have a portfolio of 8,000 solar PV customers in the UK and a nationwide network of installers. Powervault and Job Worth Doing have already undertaken Powervault’s first trial install and will initially target 600 customers in Norwich.

Specialist energy storage reseller Green Acorn Energy has also confirmed today (9th June 2016) that it will promote Powervault energy storage systems to their customers.

Keith Hounsell, Green Acorn Energy MD, said “We are impressed by Powervault’s cost effective product which includes an emergency power socket to allow customers to use their energy in the event of a black out”.

Powervault’s new product is selling well and they continue to receive significant orders from their established distributor and reseller network.

Joe Warren, Powervault MD, said “I am very proud that we have received investment from over 800 investors in this round; the vote of confidence that we now have from investors and customers alike is a great boost for the team and we’re all excited about delivering our plan”.
